Walton, Arain: Bucket List

Everyone has a bucket list; mine is fairly normal because at this point in my life I’m focusing on school more than anything else. Still and after some thought, I’ve come up with five things that I believe I need to live by or accomplish by the time I die.

My first item is pretty common. I want to live a full exciting life! A few examples (that are more on the extreme side) would be to go bungee jumping, skydiving, or riding rollercoasters whenever I can. Some less extreme examples would be to just go out dancing and to meet new people even if I’m not in the best mood or scared to.

The second thing I want to accomplish is to have completed all of my schooling by age 35. Whether it is college, medical school, or seminary. I want to achieve that goal by then so that I’m not spending my whole life in school but get enough education so I can fulfill the requirements needed for my dream job.

My third goal in life is to become a missionary doctor. I’ve wanted this career since about fifth grade because I care when someone is hurting whether it’s physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. Also I find the human body amazing. There have been many times I’ve wondered about something going on with my body so I do what I can to find out about it. I really believe this is my calling from God.

The fourth thing on my bucket list is to get married and have a baby boy. I believe everyone deserves a helpmate and I believe one is out there for me to find and marry. I’m not sure why I have a preference for a baby boy though.

My fifth wish is that I never stop reading. Reading has always helped me in life, whether to broaden my vocabulary or just to help me relax. I feel it would be a shame and a waste to stop reading especially if I’m physically able to.

If you summarized my bucket list you could simply say that I just want to live my life doing things I love with people I love whether it’s considered extreme or not.
