Walker, Garrett: Bucket List

Before I die there are certain things I would like to do. Not little things that happen every day but things that are exciting and eventful. These are the things I would do.

I would like to go on a submarine and dive deep down into the depths on the ocean. I would want to drive and cross the ocean in a mighty vessel slowly moving underwater through the murky infinite nothingness that is the ocean. Finally, I would see land after months under the water, only then head back for the long return trip home, but still satisfied in the journey.

I would like to journey to China and go see all the sights. While on a mission trip to Guatemala I learned that I want to travel all around the world. I would walk along the Great Wall of China and take in its magnificent beauty, visit the monasteries and observe there cultures and see what another people’s lives are like and use that knowledge to improve myself. I'd like to experience all of their rich culture and live there for a while.

While in South America I zip lined over the rain forest. It was one of the best feelings in the world to zip over the trees going 55 miles per hour on a little cord. Nothing holding you but a clamp and rope, almost hitting the trees with your feet, and coming to quick stops sure that you’re going to run into something is the biggest rush I’ve experienced . So, I want to zip line in every continent in the world. I have already zip lined in North and South America.

Also when I was a small child I went to an airshow and got to ride in an hot air balloon, it was so much fun. I would also like to circumnavigate the globe in an hot air balloon and just drift along.  Lastly before I die I want to go to Paris at night and go to the top of the Eiffel tower and look out onto the city.
