The Honors College seeks and admits qualified students who seek to pursue a serious academic program with equally gifted peers and committed teachers. Honors classes are small and provide academically enriching opportunities for students and the faculty who teach them. Currently, SAU enrolls nearly 170 honors students and graduates about 66% of admitees in four years or less. Mukweyi, Diana: Bucket List

Life, as Diana Mukweyi, has been amusing and full of enthusiasm on the subject of travel. Although the majority of my travels have occurred through books, I hope to have more travels in my everyday life.

I'd like to go on impromptu road trips at different stages of my life. I believe it would be very good for me to put everything down and drive wherever the road leads me. In life, many good things occur when they're least expected. A road trip would lead me to great places full of breathtaking surprises.

I want to visit every continent since the earth has a lot to offer. I imagine it would be a waste if I didn't try to witness the wonders the natural world has unfolded for all to see. Traveling to different continents would allow me to experience many things that make each place unique.

I want to become a pastry chef since they make very delicious desserts. Producing delicious pastries everyday would be exciting because there are so many different desserts from all over the world and I would really enjoy learning to create these exotic treats. In the world of pastries, I don't think any day would be a bore.

During my middle school years, I was given the opportunity to become a Girl Scout with Troop 1268. I learned many lessons about respect and hard work thanks to our amazing troop leaders. These wonderful women took time out of their busy lives to be role models and to open our young minds to great adventures under the open skies. I'd like to become a troop leader because I want to open that door of opportunity to the younger generation of girls who are growing up in this fast paced modern day society.
