The Honors College seeks and admits qualified students who seek to pursue a serious academic program with equally gifted peers and committed teachers. Cordero, Haley: Bucket List

Before I leave this world, there are certain tasks I want to accomplish. At the end of my life, I want to feel like I have experienced the world and what it has to offer. Some of the items on my list may not all be exciting and adventurous, but they are items that I would not normally do on a daily basis.

Usually, I am not an adventurous person by any means, but my bucket list contains one item that pulls me out of my comfort zone. I believe I would enjoy riding on a hot air balloon. I do not necessarily despise heights, but I do not love them either. I have always wanted to see everything from a different perspective, and this would allow me to do so.

Something I always crave is ice cream. Another item on my bucket list is to eat only ice cream for an entire day. For each meal I will indulge in a different flavor. It may not be very healthy or filling to participate in this act, but it’s a one-time occurrence so it can’t hurt me too bad.

Paris has always appealed to me as an interesting place to visit. I would love to stand directly in front of the Eiffel Tower and take a photo. France to me seems like a relaxing and romantic place to be. Traveling around the world would help me to get more acquainted with other customs and cultures. I will learn to understand other people’s way of life aside from my own.

I would also enjoy being in two places at once. We work a lot during our lives and sometimes believe if we could be in two places at the same time it would be very beneficial to our lives. I will step on the borders of two states.

All of the items on my bucket list are attainable, as long as I set my mind to it.
