Walker, Kailee: Bucket List

Everyone is going to "kick the bucket" eventually, but some people do so without ever having completed their life-long goal or bucket list. I don't want to be one of those people. Before my time comes, I would like to purchase an around the world airplane ticket, which would then lead to the accomplishment of my smaller dreams as well. Even as a kid, I would often dream of going to foreign places and seeing some of the more famous tourist attractions there. When I get my ticket to travel the world, I'll make many stops.

The trip would have to include Australia so I can go scuba diving and see the Great Barrier Reef. I believe it would be an enriching adventure that few get to do. It is a beautiful attraction and I would enjoy seeing all of the natural wildlife living there. Of course, while I am there, I will go see the Sydney Opera House and take in a performance. The kind of atmosphere presented there would be unique and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

My tour around the world would also include Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Participating in the nightlife there would provide a new cultural exploit that I will never forget. While in Brazil, I would like to take a tour of the rainforest and view the wildlife. The children's movie Rio first sparked this interest, and while I realize the rainforest is not actually like that, I still believe that it will present an amazing physical challenge and it will be a remarkable end to my journey across the globe.

I know it may be costly, and I know some people may not understand, but I believe that my trip around the world would be the perfect way to punctuate my life and leave me able to say that I did everything I ever wanted.
