Leach, Cameron: Bucket List

-->
When I think about a bucket list my mind goes straight to the movie The Bucket List with Morgan Freeman. I’ve tried many times to place myself mentally in the position of someone who had a very limited amount of time left on earth, and if I ever had to decide what to do with my short time I would go into an utter panic. It would be so hard to have to choose just a few things because I am very adventurous. There are multiple things that I would love to do before I “kick the bucket.”

At the very top of my bucket list is starting a family at the appropriate time, of course. Then, I would be able to see what my children look like and the kind of people that they turn out to be. Next, I have always wanted to go to Italy and France. Italy sounds like a very beautiful place, Venice in particular with the gondolas and its numerous canals. France and Italy have always seemed so romantic to me, and I would love to be able to experience them for myself. Another adventure that I want to experience before I die is scuba diving. I have always loved the ocean and the gorgeous creatures that live in it. Being in their habitat for a long period of time with plenty of oxygen would give me the opportunity to explore their home up close and maybe even find some sunken treasures. I also have always wanted to go on a walk in a forest and find a secluded waterfall surrounded by numerous bright wild flowers. I believe that it would be a very calm place for me to just sit and think while also experiencing nature’s beauty. The fifth and final thing that I want to do before I die is to visit an actual castle from the medieval era. I have always been awed by castles and curious as to how it actually feels to be inside of one. I have often wondered how it felt to live in a place like that and just what it looks like up close. I hope that I am one day able to complete this difficult bucket list, and maybe after I complete my education and become a psychiatrist I can.
