Arkansas Arts Center

 The Arkansas Arts Center

On Sunday, September 8, 2013 24 SAU Honors College students visited the Arkansas Arts Center to view their exhibit of Rembrandt, Van Dyck, and Gainsborough (and much else) on its last day in Little Rock.

The museum was a cool respite from temperatures as high as 107 degrees outside. The exhibit featured art normally exhibited at the Kenwood House in London. All were struck by how bright and well preserved the paintings were. Some were over 300 years old.

SAU Honors College students pose for group picture before beginning trip back to Magnolia.

After visiting the museum, the group stopped in Malvern for dinner choosing between the Great Wall Restaurant, McDonalds, and Wendy's.
