Van Camp, Courtney: Bucket List

Everyone has dreams that they want to fulfill before they pass, dreams never acted upon. Those dreams create the “bucket list”, that imaginary sheet of paper listing everything a person wants to do before passing. I am no different from anyone else. I have a list of things that I want to do before I die.

The first thing on my bucket list is to find my true love. I am a hopeless romantic and the idea of finally finding that one right person sends me into a mad frenzy. I want to show that man all of the affection that I can give and turn myself over to him completely. I rate this wish as my top priority in life because the love of another can make the recipient feel so complete.

Next, I want to travel to travel to at least one country on every continent. I believe it would be stimulating to experience other cultures and the diversity found in foreign lands. To try all of the different foods and to meet new people would be the opportunity of a lifetime.

Last, I would like to snorkel. Floating over the Great Barrier Reef would be amazing thing during the Australian summer. The Great Barrier Reef is home to so many diverse and mysterious forms of life that to snorkel there would be the ultimate adventure.

Bucket lists are a way for people to sort out their goals in life and to figure out what they want to do before they die. My bucket list shows the things that I want to accomplish during my lifetime. I may not be able to finish it all before I die, but I can at least hope that I can live my life to the fullest and accomplish the most important things on my list.
