There are many things I would like to do before I die. My top five things would be to see the Northern Lights, experience weightlessness, go scuba diving, visit all seven continents, and raise a family.
The Northern Lights are unique and beautiful phenomena seen in the night sky in the polar regions. Their main energy source is the plasma-rich solar winds that soar past earth. When the winds blow through the magnetosphere they conduct electricity and that creates the colors that can be seen from the ground.
Another thing that I would like to do would be to experience weightlessness. This one might be a little bit harder because spaceships haven’t started carrying passengers yet. There are some machines that can give you the opportunity to flip, spin, turn, and fly all at your own free-will, but the starting price is around 5,000 dollars, so I’ll wait a few years for that one.
I’ve seen the ocean several times, but I’ve never had the opportunity to scuba dive. I would like to go deep-sea scuba diving and to be able to spend hours underwater without needing to come up for a single breath.
I would say I want to see the “world” but that is basically impossible, so I would like at least to set foot on each of the seven continents. I’d like to be able to stay a few nights, enjoy some of the different kinds of cultures, take tours, and shoot many, many, photos to help remember my trips.
My last thing and final thing that I hope to accomplish in life is to make and raise a family. I say final thing, because I’m not at all interested in that right now. I hope to stay in love with my current boyfriend, and I know he’s supportive enough to help me do all the things I want to do before we settle down, but one day—many years from now—we may raise kids the way my mom raised me in a loving and very supportive home.
