Ft. Worth Trip Report and Pictures

Here, our group poses in front of Joan Miro's Woman Addressing the Public statue which stands in front of the Kimbell Art Museum.

I'm still recovering from the drive back and forth, but we had a great time in Ft. Worth yesterday. We began at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. We saw a special exhibit of Ansel Adams photos there including Moonrise Over Hernandez New Mexico.

Also at the Amon Carter were many pieces by Fredrick Remington and Georgia O'Keefe. Here are a couple of Remingtons:

Remington Sculpture: Trooper of the Plains

Remington Painting (detail): Cavalryman's Breakfast on the Plains

We ate a nice lunch at Z's Cafe nearby. Here are some scenes from our repast.
