Sandlin, Zachary: Bucket List

The idea of a bucket list has been around for many years. I can remember hearing my grandpa talk about his bucket list. However, the 2007 movie “The Bucket List” made the idea much more popular. I didn’t really think I’d be putting a bucket list together this young, but I do find it entertaining to think that my list now may be completely different years down the road.

The first item on my list is something I had initially planned on doing with my grandpa; I want to visit Hawai’i, specifically Pearl Harbor. I want to see the old World War II battleships and cruisers that were sunk so many years ago. I’m a history buff, and I spent one entire summer researching World War II with my grandpa. Nerdy I know.

Following along with that nerdy idea, number two on my list is to participate in a Comic Con. I love comic books and super heroes, from Spiderman to Batman, Marvel and Dc alike. Third on my list would be to own, or at least drive a 1969 Yenko Camaro. I love old muscle cars, and this is one of my all-time favorite cars. If not the Camaro, a 1967 Shelby GT 500.

Getting away from the older things, the next item on my list would be to see an NFL game live, sitting in the stands. I’m a fan of sports, my favorite being football, and I’ve been told the best experience a fan can get is at an NFL game.

My final item would be to work as Athletic Trainer for the University of Arkansas. I am a die-hard Razorback fan, and I love the career I’ve chosen, so to be able to participate as a part of my favorite college doing the job I love would be the perfect opportunity for me.
