Newby, Jordan: Bucket List

Like most people, I have a bucket list that has been steadily accumulating adventures to go on before I “kick the bucket”. Although majority of the things that have been added over the years are forgotten along with the silly band/sparkly ugg fads they came with, there are five items that have persevered.

Firstly, a lifelong dream of mine is becoming a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading team. I believe this goal has stuck with me for so long because of how attainable it is for me. I am more than willing to train for it, and have been coached and trained by veteran cheerleaders since I began cheer and dance at the age of 3.

Secondly, is to live on the coast in Greece for any amount of time possible. I think it is one of the most beautiful, picturesque places in the world.

Thirdly, I wish to be a company’s CFO, preferably a Fortune 500 company, but not only do I want this amazing job, I want to be able to enjoy doing it.

Fourthly after traveling the world, cheering on the Cowboys from the sidelines, and becoming a millionaire with my awesome CFO position, I want to be able to retire at a reasonably young age and open my own bakery. Baking is most certainly a passion of mine that I would love to share with others.

Lastly, and most importantly I believe, I want to make a positive impact on the world, big or small. Regardless of how life ends up playing out, I want to be able to look back and say that something or someone was genuinely better because of me. Even if this is the only thing I accomplish off of this list, I can confidently say I would have no regrets.
