Chewning, Amanda: Bucket List

Everyone has dreams and goals they wish to pursue and achieve in their lifetime.  Each dream is unique and comes from a personal perspective.  Although many hope to achieve the same goals, every individual desires it for a different reason.  

My biggest passion in life is to travel. My family has taken grand vacations for as long as I can remember.  I want to continue this tradition throughout my life with my own family. I hope to take a road trip across America and see all the landmarks, cities, and parks our country has to offer. I also want to tour Europe and explore the different cultures and histories of other nations along with the vast beauty of the land and architecture. 

                  Like most, I hope to have a comfortable home and a loving family. I have always loved the strength and beauty of the mountains along with the opportunities and urban chaos of the city; so I hope to live in a city that is close to mountains, perhaps Denver or Seattle. After loving and raising my own family and to cure the empty nest syndrome that will soon follow, I want to adopt or foster children in need.  Most people that wish to adopt children want them very young to raise as their own. I would take in older children who have lost hope in adoption and give them a home, family, and opportunity for a new life. 

                  The last of my dreams is one that is somewhat shallower than the others, but one day I hope to audition for the show Big Brother. I watch it every week and wish every time I was in the house playing the game.
