Deaton, Heather: Bucket List

Though I am only 18 years old, I am completely confident that Disney will continue to have a huge impact on my life.  My love of Disney introduced me to some of the lesser-known wonders of the Disney Parks. Since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I have been watching, listening, sleeping, and dreaming of that mouse with the big ears and the man who created him.  Beyond the countless hours I hope to spend in all of the parks, I hope to explore these hidden gems before I kick the bucket.

Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World contains a suite originally designed for Walt Disney’s family to use while they were visiting the parks.  The suite was actually built long after his death and currently contest winners, celebrities, and prominent business people find it home.  One day (or one night, rather) I will sleep in this hidden castle hotel.

Disneyland is home to its own highly sought after treasure, Club 33. The New Orleans Square section of the park hides this private club quite effectively.  To gain access to this club requires an exclusive membership highly sought after and sometimes considered impossible to attain. With my determination and love for Disney, this dream of entering past the iconic “33” address plate on the entrance door will become a reality.
